Well done Brookfield for hosting event again this year.Great to see another Irish player, Eoin Heavey, get his first ATP point. The Irish performance in the doubles was outstanding, with two pairs in the semis having beaten the numbers 2 and 3 seeds. Conor Niland is lloking more and more mature and will undoubtedly break through in next 12 months. Great performance by Peter Clarke losing out to No 1 seed Feeney despite not dropping his serve, he seems to be on his way back however the disgraceful decision by Tennis Ireland not to give him a wildcard in F2 is unlikely to improve relations there. He is the best Irish tennis player since Sorensen and Doyle.
